Taiwan shares fall more than 3 per centTaipei  - Taiwan stocks plunged nearly 6 per cent Wednesday in response to Wall Street falls caused by continued concerns about global recession.

The TAIEX index fell 318.26 points, or 5.76 per cent, to close at 5,206.40. (dpa)
