Men Find Women Bodies More Attractive In Winter

A recent study at Wroclaw University in Poland showed that attractiveness for Men Find Women Bodies More Attractive In Winter female bodies increases in winter for men. In other words women's bare body in winter is more desirable. Researchers said that the reason behind this difference of choice depending on seasons is not clear.

Researchers analyzed the data collected from 114 men. During the study, these men were asked to rate photos of women at different times of the year. The study subjects were shown three kinds of snaps every three months over a period of five seasons. The three types of snaps were full body portraits of women in black swimsuits, exposed breasts of different sizes and faces of young women.

Analysis of data showed that the bodies and breasts were rated most attractive in autumn and winter and least attractive in summer by men. Faces of women received the same rating throughout the year. Researchers believe that female bodies are less visible in winter that why the snaps showing female bodies received high rating during these seasons whereas faces are visible throughout the year hence the snaps showing the faces of women received same rating throughout the year.

The study subjects were also asked to rate attractiveness of their own partner. Even these results followed the same seasonal pattern, with a peak in autumn and winter. But there was no seasonal variation in the ratings of the men about their own attractiveness. The effect of seasons on the choice was found in men of all ages, and in those living in urban and rural areas.

They added that it is also possible that such seasonality might be related to some fluctuations in sexual activity and therefore might be related, for example, to some yearly fluctuations of adulterous behavior. Such variation might be important because hormones, neurotransmitters, and/or mood fluctuations over the year may cause seasonal fluctuations in fertility or sexual behavior.
