Sao Paulo  - A small twin-engine aeroplane skidded on the runway Wednesday and just missed crashing into a wall at Congonhas airport in Sao Paulo, forcing authorities to temporarily close the airport.

Brazilian media reported that none of the three people on board the King Air plane were injured.

The craft just missed the wall separating the airport from Washington Luiz Avenue. (dpa)
