11 injured in bomb attack in Turkey
Istanbul - Eleven people were injured in a bomb attack on a police mini bus in the Turkish coastal city of Izmir on Thursday, two days after a suicide attack in the country left nine injured.
The blast Thursday occurred in the city centre as the police bus was passing by, the Turkish news agency Anadolu reported.
Among the injured were a eight police men, one military officer and two soldiers.
On Tuesday, the suicide attacker had detonated his explosives near a police checkpoint in the Southern Turkish City Merzin. (dpa)
