ICC To Finance Non-Test Playing Nations
The TV Deal between ICC, in subcontinent, will fund game of cricket in various nations.
ICC is planning to spend $300 on the development of cricket in non-test playing nations. The ICC will fund 94 countries for the improvement of the sport in them. This money will help promotion of better cricket in countries like Jersey and Guernsey. This grant will be spent on players, better coaches and better facilities.
Jersey Cricket Board Director of Cricket, Chris Minty said that the grant from ICC is more than sufficient for small country like Jersey. He added, "It's going to be spent on helping develop players across the age ranges, develop coaches and umpires and help with improvements to facilities."
