Human Rights Watch says China reneging on media-freedom vow
New Delhi, July 7 : The Congress party on Monday did a major reshuffle in its organizational structure by appointed new party chiefs for three states.
The new chiefs were appointed to Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh.
“Congress President Sonia Gandhi has approved the proposal for the appointments,” an official release from All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi.
Congress party MLA Siddharth Patel has been appointed as the president of Gujarat Congress Committee and MP Tusharbhai Choudhary and MLA Kunwarjibhai Mohanbhai Bavalia will be the new working presidents.
Former Union Minister and Salem MP K. V. Thangabalu took over as the president of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee.
Thakur Kaul Singh has been appointed the president of Himachal Pradesh Congress. (ANI)
