Lenovo IdeaPad U110 Launched In Indian Market
Lenovo has now come out with another offering in the Indian market.
This time, the technology giant has revealed consumer notebook PC, named IdeaPad U110, which has been made keeping the stylish people in mind.
The company claims ‘U110’ to be the “Star” of Lenovo’s IdeaPad entertainment and stylish notebook series, as it received three Best-of-Show awards at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show.
Available in black and red colors, the newly launched laptop computer weighs just 1.05 kgs and is about 18.4mm thick.
The ultra-portable notebook has a tendril pattern engraved into its aluminum lid and attractive vents on its base reminding one of an illuminated manuscript or a fine textile.
The notebook comes packed with a unique piano finish keyboard, a frameless screen and an 11-inch wide screen. The notebook has a LED screen, which is brighter than the screens users’ get these days.
While commenting on the IdeaPad U110 notebook PC, Mr. Amar Babu, the MD of Lenovo India, stated, “Customers end up compromising either looks for technology or technology for looks. This no-compromise ultra portable notebook from Lenovo offers both. We're confident the much-anticipated IdeaPad U110 ultra portable notebook will excite customers and give them a unique and rewarding computing experience.”
Other features of the laptop comprise 120 GB HDD, up to 3 GB RAM, built-in web cam, WLAN, Ethernet and Bluetooth connectivity, external DVD burner and Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium operating system (OS).
The notebook also comes packed with an added battery to expand battery life of the laptop up to eight hours. The VeriFace face recognition software lets users to log in simply without remembering passwords. Moreover, the Dolby Home Theater and Multimedia Control Center, and the U110 assure better sound quality.
This “vanity box” is available all Lenovo storefronts for prices starting at Rs 98,000 without tax or shipping.
