Nokia Rolls Out Two ‘E-Series’ Handsets
After enticing users with its N series phones, the Finish giant Nokia has come out with another offering in the market.
This time, the technology giant has revealed two new E series handsets named Nokia E71 and the Nokia E66.
Targeted at business executives, the newly launched e-mail-optimized devices support Nokia’s Intellisync Wireless Email Platform apart from third-party email services
The Nokia E66 is a slider handset with GSM capability, along with EDGE and HSPDA connectivity, which is dressed in grey and white stainless steel shell.
Some of the other features that are expected to be incorporated with the E66 phone include a QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera, a front –facing cam for video calls, Wi-Fi, 3.6 mbps web browsing speed, A-GPS and a 2.4 inch QVGA screen. Moreover, it also offers additions like an orientation sensor that automatically optimizes itself for full screen viewing or silences the ringer when the device is turned over.
Along with some other goodies, the device is equipped with 110 MB of internal memory with an extendable microSD card up to 8GB.
On the other hand, the Nokia E71 too comes in a stainless steel shell with similar features like a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and 3G option. The phone has 8GB of expandable memory to store your videos, music and other data.
Despite modish look, both handsets support the latest Ovi services including maps, music and media sharing.
The Nokia E71 and E66 are expected to hit the stores in the next month (July) of this year at Euro 350 (approx.Rs 23,255) each.
