Zonda Cinque racing car fit for the road
Rome - The Italian sports car manufacturer Pagani will build a roadgoing version of its Zonda R racing car called the Zonda Cinque featuring the same 750 horsepower Mercedes 7.3-litre V12 engine, Germany auto-motor-sport magazine reports.
Priced at 800,000 euros (1.24 million dollars) it is significantly cheaper than the 1.2 million euro racing version with production limited to five cars, according to the report.
A prototype has been spotted on test tracks in Italy featuring the traditional Pagani design elements with four exhaust pipe tips protruding from the centre of the rear fascia. (dpa)
