SRK-Kajol Jodi To Rock Again In Johar’s Next!
Ace Bollywood beauty Kajol has been selected to play lead role opposite King Khan in producer/director Karan Johar's upcoming flick ‘My Name is Khan’.
The bubbly-natured Kajol, who has become choosy with her films since she became a mother, had withheld assent pending a detailed script narration that has now been finished.
Karan Johar, who is probably delighted with Kajol’s consent, has a good personal relationship with both Kajol and SRK.
A part of the movie ‘My Name is Khan’ is to be shot in California, something else that Kajol was worried about, as it would disturb her family environment.
Previously, she rejected Karan’s Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna in 2006 because it was shot extensively in the United States and her daughter Nyasa was very young.
But, since Nyasa is five years old now, it should be less problematic for Kajol to take her on site to the US for shooting, which is likely to begin within a month.
The first half of the movie is based on a true story that happened to the couple and Karan Johar has already bought the story rights.
SRK will play a Muslim who gets wrongly detained on a flight as his last name is ‘Khan’ and the authorities’ think that must make him a terrorist.
Shahrukh and Kajol have already charmed everyone with their brilliant performances in the films like Karan Arjun, DDLJ, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.
