Ace Bollywood actor Aamir Khan will launch the music of his upcoming flick “Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na” by presenting the first music CD to the veteran actor Shammi Kapoor.

It seems that Shammi Kapoor is a lucky mascot for Aamir.

One of the year’s most-awaited releases, ‘Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na’ has already awakened attention through its lavish promos and new concept months in advance of its opening. Now the viewers are eagerly looking forward to the music release.

The film ‘Jaane Tu’ that will launch Aamir’s nephew Imran, also marks the return of Mansoor Khan, the man who directed Aamir’s first film ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ and the hit ‘Jo Jeeta Woh Sikander’ among others.

Instead of going the conventional way and having a grand party, Aamir is planning to make it a more intimate affair. Aamir plans to launch the music by presenting a cassette to Shammi Ji at his residence on May 20 and seeking his blessings.

Shammi Kapoor is an old friend of the family having acted in Nasir Hussain’s movies like ‘Teesri Manzil’ and ‘Tumsa Nahin Dekha’.

Even recently Aamir had also gone to seek Shammi ji's blessings with the first copy of the music CD of his fist directorial venture, Taarein Zameen Par.

The perfect star Aamir said, “Shammiji’s blessings are important. He has been a guiding force since a long time and has been very close to our family. It is a kind of ritual for us to go and present him the first copy of the music. This time it’s Imran’s launch and it is all the more important.”

The film’s music is composed by A.R. Rehman.
