Former New York Governor’s call girl booker ready to reveal all

Former New York Governor’s call girl booker ready to reveal allNew York, May 16 : Temeka Lewis, the primary booker for a prostitution ring whose clients included former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, has agreed to tell a grand jury all she knows.

This could really be troublesome for Spitzer, as Lewis has pleaded guilty to federal charges relating to prostitution and money laundering.

Lewis read a prepared statement in US District Court in Manhattan admitting that prostitutes travelled across state lines to meet with clients.

The deal requires Lewis to come clean about the hooker ring and its high-profile clients. In return, prosecutors will ask that Lewis receive leniency at her August sentencing.

“We stand ready to receive direction from the government,” said defence lawyer Marc Agnifilo.

She is scheduled to be sentenced on August 6 and faces a maximum of 25 years in prison.

Lewis was one of four people charged with managing the Emperors Club VIP. The high priced call girl ring was broken up earlier this year.

Spitzer’s unmasking as “Client No. 9” led to his shameful resignation on March 12. He was not charged with a crime, but he became a laughingstock after a tipster revealed he kept his socks on while being serviced.

Lewis’ testimony could be critical to the government's efforts to slap Spitzer with a money laundering charge because she is the only member of the Emperors Club VIP ring who spoke directly to the disgraced Democrat. (ANI)
