Cipla, Sun Pharma, Hindalco, Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto among Top Gainers
Indian markets were trading nearly 0.4 percent lower on Wednesday with NSE Nifty at 19733. Among major gainers in today’s session were pharmaceutical stocks. Cipla, Sun Pharma and Dr Reddy’s were trading firm while Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto and Eicher Motors were also among top gainers. Banking stocks were dragging the markets down with major private banks on the losing side.
Cipla was leading on NSE with 3.5 percent gains at Rs 1214. Sun Pharma was up by 2 percent while Dr Reddy’s Labs was trading 1.7 percent higher. Among other gainers in early session were Hindalco, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, Infosys Technologies, HDFC Life, Grasim, Divis Labs, Eicher Motors and Bharti Airtel.
Among losers in today’s trading session were Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and SBI. PowerGrid, Tech Mahindra, Adani Ports and Adani Enterprises were trading marginally lower.
