Possible salmonella leads to recall of 'Real Sliced Fruit ' sold at Costco
Costco is pulling a famous snack made of dried fruit on the grounds that they may be tainted with Salmonella microscopic organisms.
Oregon Freeze Dry the organization that makes the snacks has voluntarily reviewed 59,780 instances of Kirkland Signature Real Sliced Fruit.
Prudent review measures started on Saturday, March 8. Shoppers who may have bought the item were reached by telephone and US Mail, and a letter with respect to the voluntary review was posted on the Costco site.
There have been no affirmed instances of Salmonella harming at this point. Kirkland Signature Real Sliced Fruit is sold in a red and white case holding 20 pockets of dried snacks.
Shoppers who have bought Kirkland Signature Real Sliced Fruit with the accompanying "Best Before Dates," recorded on the upper left corner of the front board of the case, are urged to give back where its due to the spot of procurement for a full discount - Best Before Date: FEB 14 2015 - MAR 11 2015 (which peruses Feb14,2015 - Mar11,2015)
