Sydney, Jan. 29  : Veteran Australian wicket keeper Brad Haddin would face West Indies' explosive opener Chris Gayle for the first time in the upcoming Prime Minister''''s XI one-day match with the touring Caribbean team at the Manuka Oval since their ugly spat during a Big Bash League (BBL) match, and both the players are keen to move on from their past troubles.

Dismissing the incident, Haddin said that he is over the entire episode and will now be concentrating on the upcoming match, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

Gayle had a similar response and declined to comment whenever Haddin's name arose, the paper added.

The incident began when Gayle took Haddin's wicket in the recent match between the domestic teams Sydney Sixers and the Sydney Thunders, and loudly celebrated his victory.

Venting his anger, Haddin derided Gayle's performance at the tournament and said that he was playing for the money.

Gayle hit back on his Twitter account, saying that he could bat better than Haddin even with his non-preferred right hand.

However, Windies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, Haddin's team-mate at the Sixers, commended both Gayle and Haddin saying that any media blow-up should not be taken to heart. (ANI)
