Google reportedly set to release 32GB Nexus 7 as early as this week
According to a recent report on the ITProPortal website, Google is apparently set to release a 32GB version of its hot-selling Nexus 7 tablet, which is presently available only in 8GB and 16GB versions.
As per the ITProPortal report, citing an unidentified source close to UK-based retailer Argos, the 32GB Nexus 7 model will probably hit the markets as early as this week.
About the possibility of a 32GN Google Nexus 7 tablet in the offing soon, the ITProPortal report said: "We've been told by someone with close links to Argos, the popular high street UK retailer, that the 32GB Nexus 7 will appear in its Christmas gift guide, which will be launched this week."
In addition, going by the details shared by the ITProPortal source, the new 32GB Google Nexus 7 version will seemingly replace the $250-priced 16GB model; and will likely cost $320 from Argos.
With most consumers finding the $200-priced 8GB Nexus 7 version and its 16GB counterpart to be lacking in so far as storage capacity is concerned, the revelation about a 32GB version will be welcomed the consumers.
Since there has been no disclosure about any particular specifications for the 32GB version of Google 7, it is quite evident that the components of the higher-capacity tablet will be the same as those of its lesser-capacity counterparts, which feature a 1280X800 HD screen; a quad-core Tegra 3 processor; a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera; Wi-Fi; and Android OS `Jelly Bean' version.
