Samsung launches Galaxy Ace Plus smartphoneSouth Korean electronics giant, Samsung Electronics has released the new Galaxy Ace Plus smartphone in its Galaxy Ace Plus series of smartphones.

The Galaxy Ace Plus features a 3.65-inch HVGA display with a 480 x 320 pixel resolution. It comes with a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash and for connectivity features; it offers Wi-Fi 802.11 connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps. The users will be able to access the company's range of apps and other services on the device.

The new smartphone will be powered by 1 GHz processor and run on Google's Android Gingerbread platform. It has 512MB of RAM and 3GB storage of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB through a MicroSD card slot.

Samsung's TouchWiz interface and ThinkFree features, which allow users to read and edit word and excel documents, will also be featured on the smartphone. Social networking services including Social Hub, Music Hub and ChatON will be available on the phone.

The device is expected to be launched first in Russia this month and will be released in the following months in countries in Europe, CIS, Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
