Reef Entertainment is working on a new Rambo game for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360, according to MCV.

The game, which will be released in 2012, will look to "capture the gritty atmosphere and full-on action which made the Rambo movies so successful". Reef has entered into an agreement with film company SudioCanal that allows it to make any number of games based on the Rambo movies.

Reef Entertainment CEO Peter Rezon said that he is fan of movies with Sylvester Stallone and the company grabbed the opportunity to secure the rights to produce games based on eth popular movies.

"With the success of the most recent Rambo film, and an international appetite for action movies with Expendables 2 scheduled for release next summer, we felt now was a good time to do something special with this licence," said Mr. Rezon.
