Internet giant, Google has been criticized for silently deleting a number of Plus social networking accounts.

Google has not been open about its decision to delete accounts of some of the members. The company declined to offer much information and only said that it had some difficult decisions to make about its services.

Meanwhile, some reports suggest that Google+ may have registered more than 20 million users in just three weeks of its operations. Larry Page, Google’s chief executive has announced last week that the invitation only service has signed up its 10 millionth member. The service has added another 10 million in the week.

Google+, Vic Gondotra, Google’s senior vice-president of social, said: “Lots of criticism for Google+. We are listening and working to address. Stay tuned for changes this week.” The company has said that it will start being more open about its decision to delete accounts.
