Apple releases app for iTunes Festival London 2011
Technology giant, Apple has released a new app to offer free live streaming concerts from the iTunes Festival London 2011. The iTunes Festival London 2011, which will be held at the Roundhouse in London, will run from July 1-31 2011 and feature 60 artists. The tickets to the festival will be free of cost for the fans.
The likes of Coldplay, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Paul Simon, Bruno Mars, Adele, My Chemical Romance, Duran Duran, Lang Lang and Moby, among many others will perform at the festival.
The app will make every show available as a streaming live concert. The content will also be offered on-demand for some time. The users with AirPlay support on iPhone and iPad, will be able to watch the shows.
Selected performances from the festival will also be available on HD on Apple devices. The company said it will stream performances in high definition on the iPad, iPhone, iTouch and on the web via iTunes.
