Jeera October contract dropped Rs 39 and settled at Rs 13440 a kg on tepid domestic and overseas demand and on hopes of higher sowing in the up-coming season due to good moisture in soil. Overseas demand is not picking up. Spot prices are also continuously coming down. In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera dropped -92.35 rupees to end at 13527.1 rupees per 100 kg. The contract made intraday low of Rs 13388 a kg and high of Rs 13569 a kg. Support for jeera is at 13362 below that could see a test of 13285. Resistance is now seen at 13543 above that could see a resistance of 13647.
