Exim agrees to guarantee loan for Reliance’s projectAnil Ambani's Reliance group has succeeded in getting a loan agreement from Exim for its power project at Sasan, in Madhya Pradesh. Exim Bank has just given an introductory approval for lending $600 million which is approximately Rs. 2,800 crore in Indian figures, which will pay for the sale and export by the US firm Bucyrus International.

This grant of loans, according to a study conducted by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, will also ascertain around 1000 jobs in the US and provide with employment.

The Exim Bank had initially disagreed to give the concerned loans, however after Reliance Power has taken the project into its hands, Exim Bank changed its prior decision and give financial support to the project.

Apart from this, the firm is also planning to set up a 250 MW renewable energy facility in India.

This step is the first in the set of other steps for providing money and creating employment across 13 states in the US. It will create around a thousand jobs in the country.
