Jeera August contract gained Rs 375 and settled at Rs 13105 a kg as traders covered short positions after the spice fell by 4.6 percent in the previous six sessions. Jeera is also moving up taking cues from other spices. However, weak export demand could limit the upside. In Unjha spot prices settled at 12836.45 rupees per 100 kg. The contract made intraday low of Rs 12760 a kg and high of Rs 13192 a kg. Support for jeera is at 12846 below that could see a test of 12587. Resistance is now seen at 13278 above that could see a resistance of 13451.
