Too Much Intake Of Multivitamins Is Risky For Men – A New Study
The researchers have discovered that too much use of multivitamins could raise prostate cancer risk.
A new study has found that men have to be careful about taking multivitamins more than one time on a daily basis as it may increase the risk of prostrate cancer.
The scientists conducting the research detected that while there was no relation between multivitamin usage and the possibility of getting localised prostate cancer, men who have had multivitamins more than once a day were 32% likelier to have advanced prostate cancer.
They also found that such men were 98 per cent more probable to die from the malady. But, the study researchers advise that the investigation had its limitations.
The researchers noted that it was not intended to decide whether multivitamins really caused cancer; it didn’t find out which multivitamins were consumed; and the outcomes failed to set up a link between quantity and response.
However, other studies have revealed no link between prostate cancer and multivitamins. Harvard Men’s Health Watch that released the study advises that a healthy diet and other daily life changes may help lower prostate cancer possibility.
The issue also hints that though the new analysis cautions against too much multivitamin use, it does not explain damage from a daily supplement, which sticks to the suggested daily amounts of the standard vitamins.
