Man faces penalty on keeping endangered species in freezer
In the West Midlands, Mr. Dudley, age 52, has been charged for keeping an array of dead animals, that includes lemurs, one Goeldi's monkey, a tiger, sparrowhawks, buzzards and many other species of birds at his half detached home.
What more, according to the police officials they have found the remains of chimpanzee, marmosets, loggerhead turtles and the skulls of baby seal and penguin as well.
The person has been charged with 10 counts for breaking the Customs and Excise Management Act along with the Control and Trade regulation, 1997 for Endangered Species.
However it is said to believe that the claim has been made on trading the animal skulls illegally and conducting the buying process as well for the same from across Europe and America.
Further the accused have has put the alleged purchases on the internet auction site eBay.
According to a spokesman from West Midlands Crown Prosecution Service the accused, Mr. Dudley has been charged with 10 offences at one go for illegal trading of endangered animals.
