As per the Delhi Chief Minister Mrs. Sheila Dikshit, the Delhi Police need to be reformed. She has discussed with the senior officials on various issues related to Delhi police amendment. Then she has revealed that lots of changes to be done in Delhi Police soon.

The capital is getting frequent threats of terrorist attacks. Even last year, there were serious bomb blasts at various crowded markets in Delhi. So to fight with such situations the Police force need to alert with all necessary equipments.

In a conference, Mrs. Dikshit has also spoken about the bill and said that the Government is willing to bring that bill as quick as possible. After lot of discussion and conference the state Government has decided to come up with this bill soon.

Mrs. Dikshit has also informed that all the opinions will be taken into consideration in establishing the scheme in which the Delhi Government would have a task in different aspects of rules. She has also said that there must be a division in Delhi Police to handle community related issues.
