Google mode of ‘privacy’ measures

Google mode of ‘privacy’ measuresA considerably relative term for the search mode of Google seems to be ‘independent’ when it comes to the search performed. But from now onwards with the growing concern over the security and privacy issues Google has planned to incorporate some new measures.

It is believed that the analytics team of Google has put in efforts to give users a choice on how their Internet browsing data is accumulated by the analytics and marketing tool and thereby, raising a stance of user privacy.

Amy Chang, Group Product Manager said, "We concluded that the best approach would be to develop a global browser-based plug-in to allow users to opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics." Chang confirmed that the plug-in is under trial and would be available globally in the coming weeks.

However, the option of ruling out users of Google Analytics monitoring could prevent companies from evaluating users insight as it won’t pull out the statistics of how long users are spending on their sites, where they are coming from, and what they are looking at. This may just refrain sites from becoming cost-effective and offering users more of what they want.
