Barry Hall to play half of quarter final

Barry-HallBarry Hall, the most powerful forward for Western Bulldogs, will play only till the half way mark of the quarter final against Hawthorn in the NAB cup. He will have regular spells on bench and this decision is taken by the coach Rodney Eade to build up his match fitness levels. He made this announcement a day before the match.

Since Hall left the Swans I round 13 last year, he hasn't played a match. The senior footy who was the ex-Sydney captain would be really going all guns blazing to impress in his debut game and the club did not expect much from him, Eade said. The decision of him playing only half a match was taken purely for his fitness purposes and not a part of any match strategy.

The inclusion of Barry hall though partial will be a good test for the defender of Hawthornian team, former North Melbourne defender Josh Gibson. Alastain Clarkson the coach of Hawthornian team confirmed this news.
