R. Velu to flag off Bhubaneswar-Ranchi Garib Rath today
Bhubaneswar, Mar 7: Union Minister of State for Railways R. Velu will flag off the Bhubaneswar-Ranchi Garib Rath here today.
The fully air-conditioned superfast express will run thrice a week. It comprises eight AC coaches and two power- cum-guard coaches.
The special train for the inaugural run will reach Ranchi at 9:10 p. m. on the same day and the new train will start its regular run from Ranchi on March 8 and from Bhubaneswar on March 9.
The 2832 Bhubaneswar-Ranchi Express will leave Bhubaneswar at 8:00 p. m. every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday and arrive at Ranchi at 7:15 a. m. on the following days.
Similarly, 2831 Ranchi-Bhubaneswar Express will leave Ranchi at 9:05 p. m. on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and arrive at Bhubaneswar at 8:15 a. m. the next day.
The train will stop at Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Talcher Road, Angul, Sambalpur city, Jharsuguda, Rourkela and Hatia.
Each coach in this train will consist of 78 berths and the entire rake can transport about 632 passengers.
A reservation ticket to Ranchi will cost Rs. 469 and to Rourkela Rs. 365. Similarly, the fare from Bhubaneswar to Talcher Road will be Rs. 209 and to Sambalpur Rs. 290. (ANI)
