Joint police operation gets hold of a Pakistani spy
New Delhi, Nov 17 : The Delhi Police team today claimed that it had arrested a close accomplice of a suspected Pakistani agent.
The suspect was arrested by a joint operation conducted by the Delhi Police personnel and Uttar Pradesh''s anti terrorist force.
He is said to have helped Jabbar alias Syed Amir, the alleged Pakistani spy obtain driving license and a passport using forged proofs, the police said.
Jabbar was arrested last Saturday from the Delhi airport.
The police claims that Jabbar who belongs to Karachi in Pakistan was staying in Shahdara area in the name of a man hailing from Lucknow.
He used to work as a technician in a mobile shop in Mansarovar Park in north-east Delhi said the police.
Jabbar was caught boarding a flight to Damman in Saudi Arabia using a fake passport that he procured from Lucknow. (ANI)
