Stockholm  - A Swedish woman bit her hairdresser because she was so upset about a hairdo that went wrong - and has now been ordered to pay the equivalent of around 3,000 dollars, local radio reported Saturday.

The customer bit the hairdresser in the thumb and also smashed up part of the salon in Jonkoping, south-west of Stockholm, the report said.

A district court ordered her to pay 9,000 kronor in damages and almost twice that amount in compensation for vandalizing the salon. (dpa)
