US airline JetBlue offers unlimited pass for September Washington  - JetBlue Airways, a US domestic flier which also serves Mexico, Costa Rica and the Caribbean, is offering an unlimited travel pass for 599 dollars valid for one month.

The special pass, announced in mid August, is good from September 8 to October 8 with no blackout dates. It includes most taxes and fees, except for flights to Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, the company said on its website.

The pass must be booked by Friday, August 21, "or while supplies last."

The recession has trimmed the number of JetBlue's booked seats by 1.4 per cent compared to July 2008, Bloomberg news service reported.

"We've never done anything like this before and we think it will be well received," said Bryan Baldwin, a JetBlue spokesman. (dpa)
