The high-technology company known for its USB flash drives – Transcend Information has tied up with Trend Micro to offer Trend Micro USB Security software bundled with its new USB flash drive – JetFlash V15.

According to Transcend, the Trend Micro USB Security software bundled with JetFlash V15 will help to provide protection against the danger posed by 'autorun malware,' which infect removable drives and then spread across corporate networks. The JetFlash V15 will come preloaded with the full-featured, 90-day trial version of the software.

Transcend is planning to unwrap its new Antivirus 'USB Flash Drive' at the four-day 'Computex 2009' scheduled to be held at Taipei World Trade Center in Taiwan from June 2. The Austin Huang, Regional Head, Sales, Transcend, said, "We will soon be making our new Antivirus USB Flash Drive available in all markets including India.”

According to Transcend India, JetFlash V15 will be available in India in a 4GB capacity, priced at Rs. 1,500, and 8GB capacity priced at Rs. 2,900, with by a three-year warranty.
