Karan Signs Kajol, Kareena For K3G Remake!
Ace Bollywood director Karan Johar has roped in 'Kajol' and 'Kareena Kapoor' together in order to recreate the success of his blockbuster movie 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'.
According to reports, Kajol and Bebo, who played real sisters in K3G -1, have been finalized by Johar.
However, Karan, who is currently busy with 'My Name Is Khan', will start shooting for the movie after completing his existing projects.
A source said, "Kajol and Kareena have been finalised for Karan Johar's forthcoming film, which will start once the actors are free from their on-going films."
The reports also said that film, which is yet untitled, will be directed by debutante Siddharth Malhotra, the grandson of the late Prem Nath. He was the creative producer of the well-known TV serial 'Sanjivani'.
The reports also said that the story of the film will be based on 1998's Hollywood blockbuster 'Stepmom', which starred Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts.
The report added that the so-called argument between Kajol and Karan Johar regarding shooting in New York for 'My Name is Khan' is now over.
"Karan, who is directing Kajol in My Name Is Khan is very happy with her work. The same holds true for Kareena, who is working opposite Saif Ali Khan in a project directed by Rensil D'Silva," said the source.
When asked about Bebo's presence in Karan's film, Kareena's secretary maintained a diplomatic stand and said, "Kareena would never say no to Karan."
However, it is not clear that who will be the leading man in the movie, and how closely Karan has adopted Stepmom.
