Swine-flu jitters push Hong Kong shares to a three-week low Hong Kong - Hong Kong shares fell to their lowest level for nearly three weeks Monday as fears over the impact of the Mexican swine-flu outbreak pushed prices down. The blue-chip Hang Seng Index fell 418.43 points, or 2.74 per cent, to 14,840.42, the index's lowest close since April 8. Turnover was 53.01 billion Hong Kong dollars (6.83 billion US dollars).

Among the biggest losers Monday was Hong Kong's flagship airline Cathay Pacific which fell 8 per cent as concerns over swine flu sent aviation stocks across the region lower.(dpa)
