Pakistan demands Predator aircrafts from USIslamabad, Apr. 24 : Pakistan has asked the United States to provide it the Predator aircrafts and other advance surveillance aircrafts to counter the increasing terror threat perception in the country.

According to The Nation, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Tariq Majid and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman during their meeting with the US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen recently informed Washington about Islamabad's military needs.

The renewed US AFPAK policy, war on terror, regional security, increased extremism in the region were the important topics upon which the top military leaders of the two countries shared their views in the meeting, sources said.

Sources added that Admiral Mullen has assured Pakistan of full cooperation in overcoming the menace of terror along the Afghan border. (ANI)
