Omnitech InfoSolutions Ltd, a provider of technology related services in the areas of business availability and business continuity, has signed a multi-year contract with two overseas companies to offer Remote Infrastructure management services and Virtual CIO offerings respectively.

According to official release, the consolidated and accumulative deal size would be at Rs 25 crore.

The company has signed the first contract with a European firm - IT Factory to remotely support IT Factory's management functions and IT maintenance.

Under the deal, the company will act as a one-stop shop for all IT requirements of IT Factory, ensuring a 24x7 holistic approach to tackle problems arising any where on the globe for IT Factory and their customers.

Through the latest agreement, IT factory is expecting a reduction of total IT operation cost by 40% in a year's time. However, the firm will be able to offer highly competitive services to its customers without compromising quality levels.

The company has signed the second contract with a US-based multi-national company- Astonfield Renewable Resources Limited with headquarters in both New York and Mumbai, to offer the concept of 'Virtual CIO'.

Under the contract, Omnitech will act as a Virtual CIO, consulting the firm right from IT planning stage to measuring goals and providing a mechanism to measure and monitor improvement.

In addition, Omnitech will also offer an experienced team of technocrats with expertise in all important aspects of IT which includes Business Applications, IT Infrastructure, Facilities Management, IT Governance, etc.

The shares of Omnitech solution are presently trading at Rs 48.25, up 6% compared with previous close of Rs 45.75. The scrip of the company has given over 38% of return in past one month.
