‘Aa Dekhen Zara’ To Release In Single Screens Only

‘Aa Dekhen Zara’ To Release In Single Screens OnlyThe Bipasha Basu and Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer ‘Aa Dekhen Zara’ has got another reason to be back in the news. The film which is all set to hit the BO later this week may become the first film to release in single screens even before the strike called by Bollywood producers and distributors formally begins on April 3.

The producer-distributors' forum charged the owners of multiplexes for being unjust to them. According to the forum, the multiplex owners demand a 50% share of their revenue. Moreover, they allege multiplex owners change timings of the films without asking them and often declining to clear payments in time.

Speaking on this, Sunil Lulla (Producer-Distributor of Aa Dekhen Zara) said, "Multiplexes have not settled the deal on my film and they tried to blackmail us into doing a package deal of our future films Kambakht Ishq and Love Aaj Kal-to which we did not agree. If they don't settle the Aa Dekhen deal, we will go ahead and release it in single screens."

However, experts do believe that ‘Aa Dekhen Zara’ would be released in single screens and independent multiplexes only. In Bombay alone, the movie is expected to release in 200 screens.

We hope that by the time of film release both the parties will be able to reach at any decision favorable to both of them.
