Priyanka gives some ‘winning tips’ to Congress party workers in Amethi
Amethi, Mar 3 : Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday visited her brother Rahul Gandhi's parliamentary constituency here and gave some `winning tips' to party workers at a Congress Sewadal programme in the Gauriganj area.
Addressing the Congress party workers, Priyanka "Only those who serve the people without any expectations would be remembered in politics," she added.
The gathering was strictly closed to the media.
Priyanka reached the venue at around 11.50 am and stayed there for around an hour.
She highlighted the development works promoted by Rahul Gandhi and her mother Sonia Gandhi and said that people of Amethi and Raebareli were like her `family members'.
Around 1,250 workers, selected from 16 blocks of Amethi constituency were present during the meet.
These workers were trained during February 18-22 about organizational skills, managing elections and ways to connect to the people and their problems.
All the workers were less than 35 years of age.
Priyanka, then went to Munshiganj guest house for a meeting with the party workers of both Amethi and Raebareli constituencies.
Priyanka will leave for Delhi on Tuesday evening. (ANI)
