Fans disrupt Ajax Amsterdam training
Amsterdam - Several dozen Ajax Amsterdam fans on Friday disrupted the club's training session, the Dutch football magazine Voetbal International reported.
The former Champions League winners are currently lying a disappointing third place in the Dutch Eredivision and are already 11 points behind the surprise leaders AZ Alkmaar.
The fans occupied the pitch and demanded to know why the team has been playing so badly in recent weeks.
Only after coach Marco van Basten and player Urby Emanuelson went to speak to them did they leave the field, the magazine reported. dpa
