‘Rage’ director praises Jude Law for transvestite role
Washington, Feb 5 : Director of Jude Law starrer `Rage' has praised the actor for making the "courageous decision" to play the role of a transvestite.
In the film, the 38-year-old British star dons women''s clothing, a wig and make-up for his performance as supermodel Minx.
Going by the hunk's dedication for the role, moviemaker Sally Potter was impressed that the high profile actor was happy to step outside his comfort zone to tackle such a controversial part, reports Contactmusic.
She says, "Jude Law, whose beauty has sometimes been held against him as an actor, made the courageous decision to accept the role of Minx.
"Strangely, the more he became a `she', coiffed and made-up - the more naked was his performance. There was great strength in his willingness to make himself vulnerable.
"It was an extraordinarily intense part of the shoot."
Rage is set for release later this year. (ANI)
