London, Jan 30 : Student Elliott Gibson has female admirers throwing themselves at him, thanks to his resemblance to the newly-single Prince Harry.

Standing 6ft 2in, with the same ginger locks, facial features and build, Elliott, 21, even sports the same accent as the young royal.

He bears such a likeness with Harry that he often signs autographs or poses for pictures, and has made cameo appearances in America and across Europe.

Although, he earns 500 pounds a day as a lookalike of the Prince, he said that the split with Chelsy Davy has mistaken girls bombarding him, in a desperate bid to become the next royal girlfriend.

Elliott revealed that he feared for his life at the weekend when one group of screaming teens chased him on the London Underground.

"People have been staring at me my entire life because of how much I look like Harry - and, as embarrassing as it is, a lot of girls come up to me to get a picture," The Sun quoted him as saying.

"But the past few days have been like nothing I've ever experienced," he said.

Elliott added: "It was embarrassing before, but since Harry's been single it's gone to a whole new level.

However, he's now vowing to stay indoors as much as possible to reduce the risks, at least until Harry finds another girlfriend.

He said: "I just hope he gets taken off the market again soon - I can't cope with all this attention. I'm definitely staying in at night for a while." (ANI)
