World leaders wish Manmohan Singh a speedy recovery
New Delhi, Jan. 25 : Leaders from across the world have sent their good wishes to the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, who is recuperating in the All India Medical Sciences (AIIMS) undergoing a coronary by-pass surgery to overcome multiple blockages in his heart.
Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani have sent bouquets and good wishes for speedy recovery of Dr. Singh.
The King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk has also wished for the speedy recovery of Dr. Manmohan Singh.
The Bhutanese King said that the Central Monk Body of Bhutan is holding special prayers in monasteries throughout the country for his (Manmohan Singh's) fast recovery.
"I hope Dr. Singh will soon be able to resume his invaluable service to his country," the message from the Bhutan king said.
The Prime Minister of Bhutan, Jigmi Y. Thinley, has also extended the good wishes of the people and Government of Bhutan to Dr. Manmohan Singh for his good health.
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has also extended his wishes for the fast recovery and good health of his Indian counterpart. (ANI)
