Britney renames ‘naughty’ single after obscene claims
London, January 19: Britney Spears has apparently renamed her new single `If You Seek Amy' to `If You See Amy' following a ban over its controversial lyrics.
The pop princess' forthcoming single had faced the axe from US radio stations after it was alleged to bear explicit connotations.
Subsequently, the third single from Britney's comeback album `Circus' was banned after being dubbed too offensive to broadcast, reports the Sun.
The record featured the chorus "All of the boys and all of the girls are beggin'''' to, If You Seek Amy", with the last four words sounding like "F--k me" when sung quickly.
So now, the singer returned to the studio to rerecord the song by dropping "K" from "seek" and renaming it "If You See Amy". (ANI)
