NRI doctors will open free health clinics in every state of IndiaTo provide the better health treatment in India, an organization, known as ‘AAPI’ (American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin) is planning to open at least one free clinic in each state of India.

This organization has more than 46,000 physicians of Indian origin who are now living in the US. They will train the rural medical professionals for early diagnosing and treating many fatal diseases.

President of AAPI, Sanku S Rao said on Friday at the Indo-US Healthcare summit, ”First of all the association will train health care professionals in the rural areas of Bihar and Andhra Pradesh.”

Four years back AAPI had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with government of India to improve the health care services in India.

Rao said, in India we have free health clinics in 17 places which include states of Gujarat, Punjab and Karnataka.

For implementation of free health clinics in other states, certification of hospitals, regular scanning of hospitals’ facilities, mandatory skill test of doctors at regular intervals, and to upgrade the knowledge of doctors in their specific fields are needed.
