Aamir Khan’s directorial debut Taare Zameen Par has bagged the Gold Award for Best Flick at the V Shantaram Awards.

According to sources, Amir Khan has got Silver Best director award for Taare Zameen.

Additionally, Neeraj Pandey directed ‘A Wednesday’ and Marathi flick ‘Tingya’ has received the Silver and Bronze award in the Best Film category.
 
Pandey also bagged the Best Director Gold award as well as Best Debut Director award.
 
Ashutosh Gowariker has received the Best Director Bronze award for Jodhaa Akbar.
 
Model turned actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been honored with Best Actress Award for Jodhaa Akbar, while Darsheel Safary has got best Actor award for Taare Zameen Par.

The best writing award for Taare Zameen Par has been given to Amol Gupte ; whereas best sound award went to late H Sridhar for the Tamil film Dashavataram. Shree Narayan Singh secured the Best editing award for A Wednesday.
