Life Secrets Revealed By The Cosmic Crash
A group of scientist, investigating one of the mysteries of the universe have been shaken by new shots of a "giant cosmic car crash" about 100 million years ago.
The team of the scientists informs that new clues about the existence of 'dark matter' are revealed via the spectacular intergalactic collision. A snapshot of clusters smashing into one another has been displayed in the blues and pinks captured by the powerful telescopes. The presence of dark matter is predicted in the blue area.
According to the scientists, though naked eye cannot see the dark matter, there is a lot of vital information contained in it regarding the universe. It is also believed by the experts that following the Big Bang, the gravitational force of this huge quantity of dark matter formed a framework for planets, stars and galaxies, thus shaping the cosmos.
"The new clues are a step forward in researching the make-up of the universe," said Astronomer Richard Massey, from the University of Edinburgh. He added, "It is very important and crucial. Life wouldn't exist without this stuff."
