Ghajini out in theatres
One of the most awaited films of the year, Aamir Khan’s ‘Ghajini’ finally released on the Christmas day. The Madras High Court lifted the stay on the film's release with an interim order on Wednesday after the film's makers offered to pay guarantee money to the court.
Hearing on the case will be resumed on the January 6, 2009. The producer of Tamil version of the movie, A Chandreshekhar accused makers of ‘Ghajini’ of forging documents to get the copyright. Producers of the ‘Ghajini’ used every possible chance for publicity of the movie to increase public interest in the movie.
1500 prints of Ghajini have been released in the theatres worldwide. ‘Ghajini’ is the story of Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan), who after a head injury suffers from amnesia. Due to which his memory lasts only for 15 minutes.
Ghajini is the killer of Sanjay’s love Kalpana (Asin). Throughout the film Sanjay is trying to find ‘Ghajini’. Amir inscribes his initials and related clues to Ghajini on his body.
