No Threat To UPA Administration, Says Lalu Prasad Yadav
New Delhi: The Union Railway Minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav stated that there is no danger to the UPA administration and it will finish its full term.
While registering his nomination for re-election to the position of party chief at the RJD national headquarters, Mr. Lalu said, “There is no fear about the government’s stability. It is stable and would last its full term.”
Disclosing his plans for the party, Prasad said RJD desires to attain a national position by the coming year (2008).
“The elections in the four north Indian states (Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Delhi) are crucial for us. We are working towards a substantial win in these vital states and also to gain the national party status after it,” Mr. Yadav added.
Prasad is the only applicant in the battle as no one else filed the nomination for the post till the last date that was yesterday, party sources stated.
