No secret agreement with US signed for drone attacks: Musharraf

No secret agreement with US signed for drone attacks: MusharrafLahore, Feb 24 : Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has said that no secret agreement with the United States was signed during his rule that allowed drone attacks on Pakistani soil.

Musharraf said he often heard allegations of a covert deal with the US, but said no one had been allowed to cross into Pakistan during his regime.

He said only Pakistani troops could act inside the country's borders, adding action must be taken against any foreign terrorists and Al Qaeda activists present in the Tribal Areas, the Daily Times reported.

Commenting on the Mumbai attacks, Musharraf said the attackers must have had some support from within India.

He said it was difficult for 10 men to take the whole of Mumbai hostage.

Musharraf added it was unfortunate that Pakistan alone was being blamed for the Mumbai attacks. (ANI)
